North American automotive OEMs now face a significant challenge, frequently cited as the most urgent today. Addressing how lithium and critical battery raw materials supply will meet demand as firms race to ramp up B.E.V. manufacturing.
American Business Conferences built strong connections with key engineers from major OEMs when we started a pioneering series of battery-electric vehicle technology conferences back in 2010. In May of 2022, our Battery Electric Vehicle Architectures advisory board recommended that we convene a North American conference to explore ideas for reinventing the lithium and rare metals supply chain and encouraging OEM collaboration with mining, extraction, investment, and battery technology/chemical firms. OEMs, the end-users of lithium and rare metals, will map out and define their requirements at this conference in collaboration with the battery material supply chain.
Speakers include:
- Liang Tao, Principle of Battery Strategy Battery Cell Engineering, Rivian will discuss FUTURE SOURCING AND INVESTMENT Signalling Lithium & Battery Raw Material Specifications & Required Volumes To Help Mining, Processing & Chemical Partners Adapt – An OEM Roadmap
